(COOLVILLE, OH) - A small fire Monday caused very limited damage to a Decatur Township woman's home.

The Washington County Sheriff's office says the Little Hocking Fire Department responded to the home of Karen Crouch on Boggy Hollow Road. There they discovered a fire limited to the kitchen area, which was easily put out.

The sheriff's office says Crouch accidentally left a burner on her stove on and it burned through the bottom of a pot and caused minor damage to the surrounding area.

Crouch suffered a burn on her foot, but refused treatment.
