(MARIETTA, OH) - In road news: Washington County Engineer Roger Wright says he's seeking grants from the Ohio Public Works Commission to help cover costs associated with various paving projects.

Wright says he is sending applications for the grants, which would put money toward paving projects on County Roads 2, 42, and 59.

Wright's team is currently handling large paving jobs on Blue Knob Road, along with County Roads 11 and 25, which are both set to wrap up Oct. 17.

The Blue Knob Creek project is expected to be finished at the end of August.
