(Marietta, OH) - The Gospel Mission is gearing up for their annual Operation Backyard Christmas Shoebox. They are asking for help with donations of shoe boxes or plastic containers the size of shoeboxes.

They are also looking for donations of little stuffed animals, candy canes, gloves, hats, coloring books, crayons, and other small things that a young child would enjoy to fill the shoeboxes. They will be taking donations and then filling the shoeboxes on December 11th.

On December 19th from 1pm-3pm Santa will make his appearance at the Gospel Mission Food Pantry. If you would like to donate anything to this wonderful cause you can do so by dropping items off at the Gospel Mission in Marietta. Just be sure to let them know it's for the shoebox of love.

Items can be dropped off to Candy Waite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:30pm to 8pm, Wednesday from 9:30am to 4pm, and Saturday 11am-5pm.

If you have any questions you can call (740) 350-4417.
