St. Louis Rams @ Cincinnati Bengals

Marshall: The Bengals finally get back to an afternoon game, and playing a down Rams team that has a lot going on around their organization. I'll take the Bengals to get back into the win column this weekend.

Derek Jones: Bengals get back on track after a pair of tough losses.

Minnesota Vikings @ Atlanta Falcons

Marshall: Big game for both teams, they each need a win, though the Vikings got some help from Jay Cutler on Thanskgiving. But the Vikings are looking to win their division, but the falcons obviously are going to have to look for a wildcard cause the Panther have that one locked up tight. But for this game, I don't think the Falcons can handle Adrian Peterson, so I'll take the Vikings, but It's also worth mentioning that Julio Jones might very well run wild on Minnesota as well.

DJ: The Falcons have cooled off since their fast start, plus Devonte Freeman is out with a concussion. I'm taking the Vikings.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Seattle Seahawks

Marshall: I've got the Steelers defense in fantasy this weekend, so I'm looking for big things from them. Beast Mode Marshawn Lynch is out, and I'm taking the Steelers even though this one is in Seattle, which is usually a very tough place to play, but the Seahawks record isn't that great this year, So I think the twelfth man might be lacking some firepower.

DJ: The Seahawks are always tough to beat in Seattle, and they have a secondary that's capable of slowing down the Steelers offensive attack. I think the Seahawks get the job done on Sunday.

New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos

Marshall: Brock notamanning come out last week and played good enough to get a win for Denver, but this weekend will be a whole different ball game for him. While the Patriots defense is not overly great, I have to grudingly admit they have a pretty OK coaching staff and I think they'll just have a better game plan. New England is short on receivers, and that will hurt against this Denver Defense which has shown some muscle, but again, the Patriots will come in knowing what they want to do and how to move the ball, and they'll be able to do so with a veteran QB.

DJ: Both of these teams are pretty banged up, but as long as Tom Brady is on the field it's hard to not pick the Patriots.

Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

Marshall: The way the season has gone for both of these teams I don't think there will be a real winner, just one that happens to have more points in the end. and I'm going to go with Cleveland.

DJ: Both of these teams are probably better off losing this game, but I'll take the Browns just because Josh McCown lit up the Ravens secondary earlier in the season

Shawn Jones: This game will be so pathetic that millions of people will rethink their feelings for football entirely and start watching soccer.

The Roundtable

1) What's your reaction to Ezekiel Elliot and other Buckeye's comments after the Michigan State loss?

Johnny Wharff: Win as a team, lose as a team, keep your mouth shut until the door is closed, solve it, hug it out, take it out on TTUN

Jordan Shaw: At first I felt like Zeke should have just kept his mouth shut, but it seems as though Coach Meyer agrees with him on his feelings and the other players thoughts on where they went wrong. I think it was definitely emotional for them all after being undefeated, but pointing fingers and the way he expressed his feelings was a little intense and he could have dialed it down a bit.

Marshall: I understand that he "can't say that" especially in the manner that he did, but I agree with his statements 100%. Although Urban Meyer said there would be no repercussions for him, we'll see if that is true. But if he does start, and if he does get the ball, he better walk the walk, cause he's already talked the talk

Sunderman: The man spoketh the truth! The offense has been terrible all season and p.s. it hasn't been because of Cardale Jones. Us at the radio ranch knew how big of a hit the offense would take when Tom Herman left for Houston in the off-season. He's mad, I'm mad, even my kids were upset about that ball game. I had to have the game up on game cast because we were at their basketball games all day and by the time the 4th quarter was going on, that drive home was rough. Every time an alert would go off on the phone everybody would ask what is it? Sparty ties it up... a unanimous gasp sounds the vehicle. Less than a 1 minute update of still being tied goes off... everybody is still on the edge of their seats. Sparty FG as time winds down. ... Lots and lots of shouting. I think there may have even been a tear shed or so. I know Chris Wharff is a Michigan State fan so stahp it right now Chris!

CW: At first I took offense to their reactions and comments, but then stood back and put it into perspective. 19 to 21 year old kids who spoke through emotion instead of thinking first. Young kids who experienced a tough loss for the first time in nearly two years. Address it in private, back to business.

SJ: This whole ordeal comes right back to the double-standard that some of media, and society, hold athletes to. On one hand, folks gripe and complain because the majority of comments we get from players and coaches are cliches, "coachspeak", and in general words that have no real meaning. But then, we have people who complain because we don't get honest answers from players, and then when we do, complain because "they didn't say the right thing".

Quite frankly I find the whole thing utterly stupid. If we want honest answers from athletes and coaches, we shouldn't be jumping down their throats when we get honesty, especially in non-confrontational form. Let's remember, Zeke didn't start calling people out by name, he gave his honest thoughts on the gameplan that unfolded without personally insulting anyone.

All-in-all, these kinds of scenarios are the exact reasons why we have Marshawn Lynch, Russell Westbrook, and other star athletes treating the media the way the do.

2) Thoughts on the Browns essentially suspending Johnny Manziel for a week?

JW: Isn't there anyone to shake this dude and say "Johnny my brother, party at home for 5 weeks for cryin' in a bucket". He does latch onto to some ladies though.

JS: Johnny Manziel is an idiot. His NFL career should just end. He's obviously still a child and there's no place for that on any NFL team

Marshall: I'm still a little uncertain exactly why he was suspended. If he was JUST suspended cause he was in texas, in a club "Partying" then I think it's a shame that he can't go out and have fun with friends or whatever. HOWEVER given his past it's very possible that the Browns organization gave him strict rules of what he should not go do. I also heard that he lied to the organization, and then the video of him in the club surfaced. So depending on what was really going on between the Browns and Manziel, but I'll still say they made the right call.

Sunderman: I have no idea what you're talking about. This man is a saint!
This also tells you how great his friends are. He asked his friends to lie about the party and the only lie they obliged in was telling him yes. Manziel you need some better friends buddy.

CW: About the only publicity the Browns are going to get from anyone/anywhere.

SJ: The Browns organization from the top down is a complete joke. The catastrophe starts at the top with Jimmy Haslam, who is a wanna-be Jerry Jones, and goes right on down through the front office and onto the coaching staff. This incident isn't an indictment of Manziel, it's another obvious piece of evidence that the entire Browns organization is completely inept to run a youth-league football program, let alone an NFL team.

Now, later reports claim that Manziel lied about the whole incident and thus the suspension, but my take overall is – who the heck cares? The media celebrates Rob Gronkowski partying like a mad-man, but when it's Johnny Manziel the entirety of sports media becomes prohibition-era teetotalers and acts like he's done something horrendous. Did he show up to work? Did this affect his job performance in any way? Ok, then who really cares? The reaction to this incident has more to do with the polarizing nature of Manziel than it does what actually transpired.

3) Plans for the weekend?

JS: Christmas Zoo on Saturday morning from 10am-2pm and eating a lot of leftover Turkey Day food!

Marshall: CHRISTMAS ZOO!!! The WMOA Christmas zoo is back in action, and I'll be there from 10 - 2 Saturday helping our News Anchor Jordan Shaw get acclimated and showing her how to keep a zoo, and then I'll be there Sunday from 12 - 2 weekly as well, come down and see us, but come with Toy in hand!

Sunderman: Watching the Big game on Saturday, maybe do Thanksgiving round 2 at the house, and then some K-2 basketball on Sunday. Nothing too extravagant going on this weekend, just a bunch of football watching. Hoping for a couple upsets on Saturday. My perfect Saturday in the world of CFB includes the Buckeyes winning. Sparty losing to Penn State, South Carolina defeating Clemson, North Carolina topping NC State, and if Auburn wins the Iron Bowl against Bama, I would be in heaven!
