Mayor Matthews Appointed to NADO Board

MARIETTA — Marietta Mayor and Buckeye Hills-Hocking Valley Regional Development District Board member Joe Matthews was recently elected to the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Board of Directors.
 
NADO provides support, education and training for regional development organizations across the U.S., who in turn serve local governments and the public through programs focused on strengthening local economies. The NADO Board of Directors oversees the association´s budget and operations and develops policy on issues affecting regional development organizations.
 
Matthews will serve a two-year term on the Board, beginning May 1.
