MARIETTA, Ohio - The city of Marietta is providing two great services to homeowners in need. The Emergency Home Repair Assistance program is working to eliminate housing conditions that may threaten health and safety. Development Administrator Andy Coleman talked about the long term importance of the program and said homes that aren't maintained can cause safety issues, and in serious cases, a home can be lost for good if not properly maintained.

This program is grant funded and based on income and family size. The other service being provided is the Paint Marietta Program. This service is also geared towards homeowners in need, providing free paint and labor.

Applications will be accepted until September 15th. For more information, call the City of Marietta Development Department at 740-373-9354.
