VIENNA, West Virginia (July 26, 2016) - The Grand Central Mall announced Monday that it will award $12,500 in cash donations to area schools through its Earning for Learning program.

Earning for Learning encourages residents to patronize any Grand Central Mall merchant over a five-week promotional period to earn points toward cash donations for the school of their choice.

During the promotion, which will run Sunday, July 31 – Saturday, September 3, shoppers can present receipts at the mall's Guest Services Center to designate points for the school of their choice.

Two $5,000 grand prize donations will be given away at the end of the competition; one for the top performing public school, as well as the top performing private school.

In addition to the grand prizes, a weekly donation of $500 will be awarded to a school chosen from a random drawing. Grand Central Mall will also be collecting school supply donations throughout the competition. Shoppers who bring school supplies to Guest Services while registering points will receive an extra entry for the random weekly drawing.
