Big Bend Blues Bash kicks off Friday

POMEROY, Ohio (July 27, 2016) - Something about the Ohio River calls to lovers of the Blues, and this weekend that call can be answered at the Big Bend Blues Bash in Pomeroy, Ohio.
 
Now in its 16th year, the annual music festival has become a destination for Blues and Rock lovers across the nation. The event will be held at the Riverside Amphitheatre in Pomeroy and kicks off Friday at 6 p.m. Music will continue throughout Saturday and Saturday night. Vendors and concessions will be available.
 
Musical artists featured at the 2016 Big Bend Blues Bash include: The Gas House Gorillas, The Royal Southern Brotherhood, the Steepwater Band – and the Mid-Ohio Valley's own Sunset Roosters and Jake Dunn & the Blackbirds.
 
Tickets for the entire weekend are available for $40. Single-day Friday tickets are $20 and Saturday-only tickets are $30. The Big Bend Blues Bash is sponsored by the Pomeroy Blues & Jazz Society.
