Mid Ohio Valley Players Featuring "The Man From Earth"

The Historic Players Theatre on Putnam street in Marietta will be featuring Jerome Bixby's "The Man From Earth beginning this evening and at 8pm.  Other showtimes will be Saturday evening at 8pm and January 20th and 21st at 8pm and a special Sunday January 22nd at 3pm. 
 
President of the Mid Ohio Valley Players, Kermit Polan joined the Jonsey and Bays Morning Show and spoke about the play that will be featured at the theatre for the next two weeks.  
 
Polan told the story of "The Man From Earth."  The story is about a man named John Oldman who has plans to quit his teaching job.  His colleagues try to find out the reasoning behind his abrupt departure, arrive at his house and learn that John Oldman is a 14,000 year old immortal caveman. 
 
Adult tickets for the show are twelve dollars, seniors and student tickets are ten dollars and youth tickets are seven dollars.  Tickets are also available at MidOhioValleyPlayers.org, the Marietta CVB office and at Marty's Print Shop.  Polan also mentioned the "Dinner & Show" option.  Purchase your tickets at any of the above listed areas and visit partners of the Players Theatre for a 10% discount.
