People's Bank Day Named for 115th Anniversary

Marietta Mayor Joe Matthews recently proclaimed February 6th as People's Bank Day in honor of the bank's 115th anniversary. 
 
The proclamation was presented to People's Bank President and CEO Chuck Sulerzyski, during the Community Breakfast on Thursday February 16th.  
 
Matthews said it is special for a business to last for more than a century in today's economy and that the bank's longevity speaks volumes about the bank's vision and commitment as a company. 
 
People's Bank was chartered on February 6, 1902.
