Robert R. Dyson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of They Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation, will deliver the address at Marietta College's 2017 Commencement exercises on Sunday, May 7th.
Dyson has a wide range of business interests and responsibilities, including his role at Dyson Kissner Moran. He also owns and manages a diverse array of private investments, and was the founder and owner of a regional radio broadcasting group of radio stations in the Hudson Valley of Upstate New York.
Dyson has carried on the family tradition both in his personal philanthropy and through the work of the Dyson Foundation, which awarded approximately fourteen million dollars in grant funds last year. The Foundation has donated more than ten million dollars to Marietta College, including two five million dollar gifts for the construction of the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center and the Legacy Library.
Dyson has served on the College's Board of Trustees, as well as the board at Marietta College, and he was inducted into the Ohio Foundation of Independent College's Hall of Excellence in 2007.
The 2017 Commencement begins at 1pm on Sunday, May 7th, in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center.
