Teresa Adams From MMH Named Administrator of the Year

Seventeen individuals and institutions were honored for their roles in saving lives through organ, eye and tissue donation at "An Evening with the Stars" presented by lifeline of Ohio on Saturday, March11, 2017.
 
Among those honored was Teresa Adams, director of critical care services at Marietta Memorial Hosptial, who was selected as Administrator of the Year for her guidence and direction in promoting organ, eye and tissue donation.
 
In addition to the awards, local individuals whose lives have been impacted by donation shared their stories with the attendees, including a donor mom, liver recipient and heart recipient.
 
Lifeline of Ohio is a nonprofit that promotes and coordinates the donation of human organs and tissue for transplantation.  Lifeline of Ohio serves 72 hospitals in 37 counties in Ohio and two in West Virginia.
