COME VISIT THE AMUSEMENT PARK!!  That is what the Ely Chapman Education Foundation is wanting you to do as the Spring Fling and Carnival comes to 403 Scammel Street in Marietta.  There will be free books for all!

WMOA News had a chance to speak with Alice Chapman from the Ely Chapman Education Foundation who is very excited for the event.  She said that there will be books for all ages.

On the second and third floor of the Ely Chapman Center, there will be a carnival with great activities for young and old alike.  Activities include over twenty eight games, along with art such as, spin art, face painting, button art and more.  The third floor will have games like : Plinco, limbo, a fishing pond, golf, a football toss, basketball shoot and soccer kick.  Also on the 2nd floor there is a very special book giveaway for children ages 1-12.  Chapman believes it is important for the children to pick out their own books.  She stated that if they pick their own books they are sure to pick something they want to read or have read to them.

The event takes place March 25th from 10am to 2pm at the Ely Chapman Center located at 403 Scammel Street.  For more information you can visit Ely Chapman online by clicking here or call 740-376-9533.
