Washington County Sheriff's Department Finds Marijuana

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy recently made a traffic stop on State Route 7 after observing a vehicle driving without license plates.
 
Upon stopping the vehicle the deputy allegedly made contact with the male driver.  The deputy reportedly detected what he believed to be marijuana in the vehicle.  According to the report the deputy advised the subject that he believed he was smelling marijuana.
 
The driver of the vehicle allegedly volunteered consent to search of his vehicle and the deputy reportedly obtained two yellow pill bottles from inside of the subject's vehicle.  The deputy believed the contents of the bottles to be marijuana.
 
The report went on to say that the subject was informed that the items collected would be tested and charges would be filed if the items tested positve.  The case remains under investigation.
