Fix a Leak Week

The Ohio EPA reminds us to watch our faucets.  Last week was "Fix a Leak Week" however the act of monitoring your faucets can go year round. 
 
WMOA News spoke with Matt Schilling from the Ohio Public Utilites Commission and he stated that over the course of a year there is approximately 1,000,000,000,000 (one trillion) gallons of water wasted due to leaks in systems in homes.  That is enough water for 11 million homes in the United States. 
 
There are several tips and tricks you can use around your home to monitor leaks and actions you can take to make sure that, if there is a leak, you can stop it and repair it before it gets worse.
