It's Tax Day!

Happy Tax Day. Returns are due today rather than on the 15th since it landed on a weekend. You are encouraged to act fast if you haven't filed yet. If you need more time you should consider filing for a six month extension.
If you don't act fast or file that exthension you could be faicng "Failure to File" penalities which will be 5% of the unpaid taxes every month that you don't file up to 5 months, topping out at 25% and of course interest will be placed on these percentages as well.
There is some fun to be had today however. According to
ABC News, there are quite a few deals you can enjoy when it comes down to food, health and travel on tax day. You can visit them by clicking the ABC News link just above.
One of the Tax Day deals is regarding New York Yankee Tickets. Yankee fans span the states and if you want to save some money on tickets this spring you certainly can. New York Yankee fans can get game tickets for just $4.18 as it is 4/18 (April 18th) and other tickets for $10.40... get it? Like 1040 tax forms. All you have to do is use the offer code TAXDAY when you purchase your tickets. But you have to get them today!!
