House Fire in Belpre

A Belpre house fire is underinvestigation after the Belpre Fire Department and Washington County Sheriff's departments were called to a Murray Street residence.
 
The fire department says that the blaze started in the kitchen of the home and the two in the home had made it out safely. 
 
Suspicious noises were allegedly heard by neighboring residents and fire officials say the fire was mostly contained to the back of the home by the kitchen. 
 
The case remains under investigation.
