Theft in Reno

The Washington County Sheriff's Department recently responded to Sandhill Road in regards to a reported theft.  Don Schob made the initial call to tell deputies that he had items taken from his home.  Upon arrival, Sheriff's Deputies reportedly spoke with Schob who told him the, Honda 250 three wheeler, 3 ton engine hoist and a homemade pull behind trailer were located at his neighbor's house. 
 
Tony Carpenter was the neighbor in question and according to the report, Sheriff's Deputies made contact with Carpenter at his residence and simply asked where the items came from.  Carpenter reportedly stated that a friend of his brought the items to his home.  When the police asked when they were bought to the house, Carpenter, stated that he had been in the hospital earlier in the month and when he returned home, the items were already there.
 
Carpenter was reportedly placed under arrest for receiving stolen property and was transported to the Washington County Jail.
