Representatives with the Wingett Run Church of Christ in the Ludlow Township have reported that Julie Rinard has officially residned.  Rinard was the treasurer of the church for several years.  The report released yesterday by the Washington County Sheriff's Department stated that the representatives believed the church should have between twenty four and twenty five thousand dollars in the bank account.

When Rinard resigned, the account had less than 100 dollars.

Detectives reportedly met with Rinard and she agreed to do an interview.  She denied any wrong doing then admitted later to taking around ten thousand dollars and used fake financial reports to cover up her activities.  No records were kept regarding the money Rinard took but according to the report, detectives believe that Rinard was writing checks, payable to cash, to herself and members of her family in excess of twenty five thousand dollars.

Rinard was reportedly placed under arrest and was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
