This past Saturday morning, Washington State Community College held their commencement in the Graham Auditorium.

This was the very last graduation ceremony that retiring WSCC president Bradley J. Ebersole took part in and he said he was very proud to be a part of the graduation of WSCC's 10,000th student.

The 2017 commencement speaker was the Honorable Judge Mark Kerenyi.

Distinguished Alumni from WSCC were also featured during the commencement.  1996 graduate, Carrie Ankrom from the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce spoke during the 9:30 ceremony and said that she has noticed a lot of changes to the institution sine she was a student.

The 10,000th student to graduate from WSCC was Suzanne Paugh.  She had no idea she was going to be the 10,000th and she was very surprised to receive her flowers and went on to say that she plans to further her education at other institutions in the future.
