2 Vehicle Crash on Acme Results in Injuries

A two vehicle crash occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Acme Street and the entrance to Kroger in Marietta.  Injuries were reported and the occupants of the grey Dodge Avenger were taken to the hospital.  The Honda Accord that was at fault in the accident failed to yield aas the light turned green.  There was also an unrestrained child in the vehicle.
 
WMOA News spoke with the Marietta Police Department who stated the Honda was at fault in the accident, there was no car insurance, the driver was suspended and the child was not properly restrained in the vehicle. 
 
No names were released in the incident and no further information is available.

Corn Picker Fire in Washington County

A small fire began today in a corn field in Washington County. Crews arrived however the fire was put out with Gatorade.

 

Boil Advisory For East Spring Street in Marietta

East Spring Street between Colgate Drive and Vine street are under a boil advisory.
