Ohio Health released a press release stating that the new sytem called, Cortexflo, is designed for forensic medical examinations of victims of sexual assault.

The examiner will be able to use a voice activated control to take photos hands free, the pictures are very detailed and magnified in focus.

The purchase of the new system was made possible after money was raised.  The Athens COunty Prosecutor's Office became involved and mobilized the community to make the purchase.  $9,400 was raised by the Prosecutor's Office and the communty.  O'Bleness funded the remaining $6,090 for the grand total of $15,490.

The system was installed on march 31st and the release says that ongoing trainings will be held as new nurses join the department.
