Thanks to upgrades between the Washington County Sheriff's and Auditor's offices, local dog owners and those who find lost dogs can now utilize a new online licensing system from computers, tablets, and even phones. This new system is also used by the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley.
 
In addition to tracking and reuniting lost dogs with their owners faster than ever before,  Kennel licenses can also be renewed online through the sit. However, new kennel licenses and renewl of licenses for dogs deemed dangerous must still be done in person at the Washington County Auditor's office.
