A high speed pursuit wrapped up on Pike Street in Marietta yesterday afternoon. The chase began in Vienna, West Virginia after an investigation by the Vienna Police Department.
 
Sergeant Brett Pickens with the Wood County Sheriffi's Office told us how it all began.
 
WMOA News was on the scene immediately after the chase wrapped up. A multitude of police cars from the Wood Count Sheriff's Office, Vienna Police Department, Williamstown Police Department, West Virginia State Highway Patrol and Marietta Police Department lined Pike Street as the driver was placed in handcuffs and taken to the Washington County Jail for Processing.
 
WMOA Nerws also spoke with the Marietta Police Department who got the call after the chase rolled onto Route 14.
 
The name of the female that was driving the trailblazer has not been released by officials and she will be facing charges of fleeing officers by the Marietta Police Department, Woody County Sheriff's Office and Vienna Police Department.
