On Friday, September 1st 2017, the Marietta High School Football match against longstanding rivals at Warren High School served as the kick-off event for United Way's 2017-2018 fundraising season for the sixth year in a row.

The total raised funds of $2,450 may not sound like much, but United Way assures us that the organization considers it to be a good start for their fundraising efforts for the year. In fact, the organizations has four events planned for the next few months.

For more information about these events or other ways you can help support United Way, you can contact Karen Binkley at (740) 373-3333.
