Alzheimer's Association Walk 2017

Tomorrow morning, hundreds of Mid-Ohio Valley residents will join the fight to end Alzheimer's disease at the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's at Tomlinson Park in Williamstown, West Virginia on September 23rd at 8 a.m. John D. Green of Froggy 99 will emcee a special tribute to those who have experienced or are experiencing Alzheimer's.
 
In 2016, the Mid-Ohio Valley Walk raised more than $51 thousand contributing to more than $82 million raised nationwide for care, support, and research efforts for those impacted by Alzheimer's. For this year's event, the Williamstown Bridge will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Detours may be made across the Interstate Bridge. There will also be delays along all intersections between Tomlinson Park and the Williamstown Bridge.

Alzheimer's Association Walk 2017

The citizens of Marietta and Williamstown will combine their efforts to raise money for research for Alzheimer's disease with a series of special events and a charity walk.
