Food Pantry Offers Flu Shots

Need a flu shot?
The Gospel Mission
Food Pantry at 309 Lancaster Street will host a flu shot clinic tomorrow (Wed., Nov. 14) from
11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Nurses from the Marietta City Health Department will be on
hand to administer vaccines.
Medicare and Medicaid
will be accepted. There is a small fee for those without coverage, but no
one will be turned away for an inability to pay.
The Gospel Mission
Food Pantry opened its doors at the Harmar Community Center in September, 2011,
under the leadership of Jeff and Candy Waite and a small army of volunteers.
The pantry is open every Wednesday from 11:00 until 4:00.
Anyone who needs
food or clothing assistance and cannot wait until the pantry is open to the
public on Wednesday can call 350-4417.
Donations are
accepted at the pantry every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:30 to 8:30
pm, Wednesday from 10:30 am to 4 pm, or Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm.
