The Ohio Department of
Natural Resources’
Division of Wildlife recently named a new district manager for
southeast Ohio.
Former Fish Hatchery Program Administrator Tim Parrett has been
named district manager for Wildlife District Four, headquartered on East State Street in Athens.
Division of Wildlife Assistant
Chief Dave Lane said Parrett is “customer-oriented and intends to work with our
conservation partners to manage Ohio’s wildlife resources.”
Parrett replaced the recently
retired Mark Hemming, and started his new position on December 16.
Tim Parrett earned an associate
degree in recreation and wildlife from Hocking College and a bachelor’s degree
in fisheries management from The Ohio State University. A Lancaster resident,
Parrett began his career with the Division of Wildlife in 1992.
