Checking Marietta Police reports…
A local man has been arrested in a burglary at American Producers Supply, 119 Second Street. Captain Jeff Waite says a man was observed on surveillance video stealing a concrete saw valued at $1,102. Based on the identification of the suspect, police executed a search warrant at 829 Ridge Street. While the concrete saw was not found, investigators did find the unique coat worn by the burglar in the video. They arrested Keith Drake, age 26. He will likely face indictment by the next county grand jury.
A Parkersburg man reported to police in Parkersburg and Marietta that his Visa debit card from Community Bank of Parkersburg had been stolen and was used three times at the Marietta Walmart on December 22, totaling nearly two thousand dollars. An investigation is underway.
