Corporal Taylorís body is scheduled to arrive in Columbus around 3:00 Wednesday afternoon, before being brought to Marietta.  Some members of the community are working to organize people along Pike Street from I-77 exit 1 to the funeral home at 1021 Pike Street. the interchange with Interstate 77 to the funeral home. That's expected to occur sometime around 5:30 or 6 pm.

Marines from Corporal Taylorís unit have been given permission to attend the services this weekend.  Their regular pay and benefits wonít cover the cost of the trip from North Carolina here, so people are being asked to help in the form of gas cards or a small cash donation to assist them in making the trip.

If youíd like to make a donation, you can drop that off at American Flags and Poles, 276 Front Street, from 10 am until 5 pm Thursday and Friday.
