Be 'Food Safe'

Be Food Safe:   Cindy Styer, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Assistant and The Ohio State University Extension office invite you to Food Safety 201.

Food handling safety risks at home are more common than most people think.

The four easy lessons of Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill can help prevent harmful bacteria from making your family sick. To learn more about food safety, be at one of the five free classes on Be Food Safe.  

These free Food & Kitchen Safety classes will be at our county libraries on October 31 in Barlow; November 4 in Belpre; November 18 in Marietta; November 21 in New Matamoras; and November 27 in Beverly. 

All classes start at 1:30 p.m. with no pre-registration required and are funded by the USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, call 740-376-7431.
