Marietta Police Have Preliminary Autopsy Results in Death of Vienna Boy

The Marietta Police Department continues to investigate the death of the young child who died last week. They gained some information over the weekend, which they are not divulging at this time. 

As previously reported, the three-year-old boy from Vienna was brought to Marietta Memorial Hospitalís emergency room on Thursday night, where he died a short time later.
 
On Saturday, MPD detectives drove to the Montgomery County Coronerís Office in Dayton to attend the autopsy. Police are not releasing the results of the preliminary autopsy. The final autopsy report is expected to be ready in six to eight weeks.
 
The name of the child is not being released at this time, nor is any other information.
 
Captain Jeff Waite says Marietta Police are working with Vienna Police and the Wood County Prosecutorís Office.
