The largest display of Pulitzer Prize winning photographs ever shown in currently on display at the Ohio Historical Center in Columbus. The special exhibition features 150 award winning images from 1942 through 2007.
Arranged chronologically, each picture is accompanied by a firsthand account of the events leading up to the photo. Some of the ones on display have become icons of their time: the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald, the return of a POW from Vietnam, the attack on the World Trade Center.
Others record forgotten events of the last six decades. The exhibition will run through July 25. The museum is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each week. For more information log on to ohiohistory.org.
