Last week, agents with the Major Crimes Task Force arrested two suspects from Columbus on Marietta's west side and confiscated nearly $20,000 worth of crack.

 

Officers were executing a search warrant at the rear residence of 134 Franklin Street when they discovered that a large amount of crack cocaine and a handgun that had been dropped out of a window.

Inside, 23 year old Demetrius Haley and 24 year old Brandon Jennings each implicated the other in their attempts to save themselves. Both of the men were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, a first degree felony.

Additional charges related to the firearm may be forthcoming.
