Noal Quattlebaum of Waterford will be spending Wednesday, his 22
nd birthday, in the Washington County Jail following his arrest for the murder of his girlfriend 21 year old Amber Wesley.
Wesley was found at her home on Langs Farm Road on Tuesday, a victim of an apparent strangulation, however her body will be sent to the Montgomery County Coroner's office for an autopsy to officially determine the cause of death.
The suspect has a long record of arrests. As recently as May of this year, Quattlebaum was charged with domestic violence. In January of 2006 he was arrested twice for offenses against Amber Wesley. In one instance, he broke a window to gain entry to her home, where he hid in her bedroom and waited for her.
The couple had been together since 2005.
