Paid Sick Leave Off the Ballot

The Governor asked them to quit – so they did.
 
The Healthy Families Act Coalition has agreed not to put the controversial paid sick leave issue on November's ballot.
 
Governor Ted Strickland said he was deeply concerned about what the campaign for and against the issue would do to divide the state.
 
He said he would support a national measure and his staff is ready to provide input to craft a thoughtful federal bill, drawing upon their recent experiences working to devise a workable compromise bill in Ohio.
