A West Virginia man is facing felony drug charges after troopers from the Ohio State Highway patrol seized 17 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop early Saturday morning in Washington County.

35 year old Maurice Banks of Bluefield was charged with a third degree felony for possession.

Banks was operating a rental car – a 2010 Pontiac on I-77 without a license – when troopers observed criminal indicators and discovered two plastic buckets filled with marijuana in the vehicle.
