Washington State Community College is hosting a first year student orientation held exclusively for 2010 high school graduates on Monday, August 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
At the orientation, new students will be able to learn about the academic expectations at Washington State, along with tips on how to succeed in a college classroom. Students will also discover Washington State resources such as the Learning Center, e-Tutoring and OhioLink.
Students can also receive their student ID and a parking pass. A campus tour will help students find their classrooms, so you know exactly where to go on your first day of class.
This orientation provides a good opportunity for new college students meet Washington State staff, faculty and other incoming students. Parents are also invited to attend either the orientation or a special parent session regarding college success.
To register for the orientation, please contact Admissions at 740.568.1900 or email admissions@wscc.edu.
