MARIETTA, Ohio- Back on Friday, the number of COVID-19 Cases in Washington County was at 4,952. Since then, the number has grown by only 7 cases; 4,959 total as of Sunday at 2pm. 4,717 cases are presumed recovered leaving 242. The Marietta/Belpre Health Department says they are monitoring 159 at this time.
 

The Memorial Health System COVID Clinic is now operating with new hours.  According to the VP of Service Excellence at Memorial health Jennifer Offenberger.  Monday, Wednesday and Saturday the clinic will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Pike Street Location in Marietta. Offenberger added that they will continue to offer vaccinations and will receive the first mass vaccinations this week.    
 

The state will receive more than 500,000 doses this week which will be spread through all of the 1,300 sites in the state. 
 

Meanwhile, cancellation notices were reportedly sent out via email to some residents. The Washington County Health Department says this was a mistake and that those who received the email should ignore it and continue on to their appointment as previously scheduled.
