Some think of me as the "outsider" because I wasn't born and raised in Marietta or Washington County -- but not far away in Morgan County.
I prefer to think of myself as the "breath of fresh air" to remind people to think of the big picture when it comes to our group of stations -- believe me, that's often a heavy load.
The broadcasting bug really hit me during my senior year of high school (way back in 1990-91) when our senior electronics class produced a weekly News of the Schools show that aired on our local cable channel. It's too bad that doesn't exist anymore, because it sure was a lot of fun.
I've always liked the "nuts and bolts" of broadcasting if you will, and I like to get hands-on with technical stuff.
With a Communications degree from Ohio University, I guess I could've have gone anywhere, but I chose to stay close to home.
One could say around here I'm the Jack of All Trades and Master of None, and you know, I'm okay with that because I like to get my hands into every aspect of radio. I've pretty much done it all here, and I really wouldn't have it any other way.
