When I'm on the air on WMOA from 10 – 2 I talk a lot, but sometimes I wonder what the listeners opinion is too, that's why we've teamed up with our friends at votepro to give you a voice on WMOA as well.
Vote pro is a very easy to use web based app that you can use on your computer, phone or tablet and it lets you voice your opinion to questions that I ask. There is no registration required and your answers can be entirely anonymous. Here is how it works:
during the mid day I'll pose multiple choice questions to the listening audience and share a link
http://www.voteproradio.com/ on our social media, you follow it and vote and I can track the pulse of the listeners. The Process of Posting the question to you being able to see it and answer it is all rather quick and the app will automatically update. As long as you are on the site, waiting for a question to “Go live” it will do so automatically if you are there waiting on it. The same goes for me sitting in the WMOA studios I'll be able to pretty much immediately see how people are voting. Once you are on the votepro website and connected to "The Midday show with Ben Marshall" You can bookmark that link, save it to your desktop, make it your homepage, whatever you like, that link will not change, and you can come back to it day after day and vote and answer all the questions I ask.
The Vote pro application itself is in beta test, and we're excited to be along for the ride with the developers and happy to help get the word out about Vote pro. So, on Monday on Local Radio WMOA when I go live at 10AM (or more like 10:09 after the ABC news) I hope you'll be ready to play along with me at votepro and answer the questions I have in store for you! I already have the questions worked out, we'll talk about the Buckeyes (of course) and the Washington County fair to start.
Until then how about a practice question to get you warmed up?
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck OR Fight one hundred duck sized horses?
So it's down to one LARGE duck, or several small horses. Think about it.
