Marietta College Hosting Coronavirus Info Session

Marietta College will be conducting an informational session this coming Thursday regarding the Coronavirus, March 5th.  Tom Perry is the Vice President of Communication and Brand Management at Marietta College and he says that Biology professor Dr. Steve Spilatro and Physician Assistant Studies professor Dr. Kevin Alten will discuss the spread of the virus and what public health issues can come off of Covid-19.  
 
WMOA News will be in attendance at the meeting inside of the Alma McDonough Auditorium this Thursday to get the full updates.  
 
The CDC says quote "BEFORE A COVID-19 OUTBREAK OCCURS IN YOUR COMMUNITY:  PLAN."
 
  • The plan according to the CDC is to begin talking with people who need to be included in your plan. 
  • Think of those who may be at a greater risk and plan ways to care for them. 
  • If you moved recently, get to know your neighbors.  Consider joining local groups to discuss the matter. 
  • Find aid organizations in your community.
