Beverly Lowell Post 389/750 are off to a hot start to the American Legion Baseball season as they stand with a 12-1 record and are winners of 10 straight. six of those ten wins came over the last three days as they had to grind out six games over three days. On Friday, Beverly Lowell made a trip to Barnesville to play a Friday night double header with Post 168 which they swept 7-1 and 4-1.
On Saturday, Cambridge Post 84 made the trip down interstate 71 and St Rt 339 to Beverly for a showdown with 389/750. Beverly Lowell fought hard to sweep Post 84 to scores of 10-7 and 17-7. Finally, to wrap up the weekend Beverly Lowell made the long trip up to Delaware Ohio to take on Post 171 which they toughed out two wins 13-3, 14-3.
Next up for Beverly Lowell is their annual Beach Trip where they will head down to Myrtle Beach later in the week to play top-notch American Legion Baseball Competiton.
