Scammer Group Targets MHS Athletic Director

Marietta, Ohio- According to an email obtained by WMOA News, there is currently a group of scammers that are attempting to sell advertising spots for sports posters to local businesses. Their company name is 'Big Game Promotions'.
 

Marietta High School Athletic Director Cody Venderlic says the group is falsely listing his name. The group is also mentioning that MHS will receive a portion of the proceeds.
 

The school has no contract or commitment to this business and believe it is a scam. MHS is currently investigating the situation.
 

AD Cody Venderlic wants to spread the word to the public about the possible scam and asks you to reach out to their athletic department if you ever have questions about a fundraiser.
