WSCC eyes Health Program Expansion

Marietta, Ohio- Washington State Community College is taking steps to bolster the institution's Health and Sciences division. Christina Manley will play a significant role in the expansion. Manley was hired to serve as the director for the new Health Information Management Technology program.
Christina Manley previously served as director of Marion Technical College's health information technologies program and as the advisor for National Society of Leadership and Success. Manley's primary duty at WSCC will be to develop the new online health program, including state approval and accreditation.
According to the college, the program will be 100-percent online and will include a pathway to an asscoiate degree; as well as a one-year certification.
The institution reports that Manley is in the final stages of program development. Once complete, it will be submitted to the Ohio Department of Higher Education for approval. If approved, the program would have an anticipated start date of Fall 2021.
