Cleveland Cavaliers center Andre Drummond will exercise his $28.7 million contract option and stay with the team this season, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times,

Andre Drummond was traded from the Detroit Pistons in February for Brandon Knight, John Henson and a 2023 second-round pick. Drummond averaged 17.5 points and 11.1 rebounds in eight games with the Cavs.

There is still uncertainty surrounding Cleveland's frontcourt, but it's safe to assume that Drummond will be the starting center for the Cavaliers in the 2020-2021 season.
