The early part of the summer has not been kind to the American Legion Marietta Post 64 Baseball team. Post 64 came into a Saturday Night Double header at Zanesville with a record of 0-5 looking to get their first win of the season. That is exactly what they got defeating Zanesville not once but twice to scores of 12-0 and 20-0. Recent Marietta High School Grad Jonah Emery got the win in the first game pitching five innings. Only allowing 2 hits and recording seven strikeouts as well. In game 2 Post 64 made quick work of Zanesvvile scoring 20 runs in five innings with six of the 20 coming in the top of the first inning.
