More Information on Overdose Death at Speedway
The Captain tells us that it is still believed to be a fatal drug overdose as there was drug paraphernalia near the body.
The call came in around 6:08 yesterday morning after a Speedway worker noticed the woman behind a cooling unit near the building. According to Captain Needif, it appears the female, identified as Samantha Seevers stopped to use an outlet to charge her cellphone before she passed away.
Captain Needif says that the body was not in sight of passerbys as social media rumors erupted between yesterday morning and now. The Captain says the toxicology report is forthcoming.
This death comes after one was found dead inside of a Baymont Hotel room this past Saturday. This individual was identified as 36 year old female was found deceased due to an apparent heroin overdose.
