Fatal crash in Morgan County

The Marietta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an accident Sunday around 8:11 p.m. The crash involved a Harley Davidson being operated by 42-year-old Adam Gorham.  The investigation revealed that the crash occurred while Gorham drove his motorcycle westbound on State Route 37 in Morgan County and went left of center. Gorham's bike struck an eastbound sedan.  He was ejected from the motorcycle and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
 

Reports from the patrol say Gorham was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.  Reports also state he did not have a motorcycle endorsement.  Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash which remains under investigation by the Marietta Post of the Patrol.
