With the New school year right around the corner the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County is teaming up with various school systems in the county to offer before and after school programs to students.

Marietta City Schools will be the only district to offer a before school program. This will run Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 8:45. Marietta will also provide a program after school as well along with Warren and Williamstown that'll run Monday through Friday from 3-7 pm.

These programs will help students with homework, give the kids a gym for physical activity and exercise, put the kids in contact with adult mentors and also provide snacks and a dinner. The cost for this specific program is 35 dollars a month for kids K-5th grade and 25 dollars for the year for students in grades 6-12.

Another program being offered is with Fort Frye local schools. The program will start August 25th and be held at each 3 of the elementary schools. Beverly Center Elementary will run their program from 3-5:30 while Lowell and Lower Salem will go from 4-6 each evening.

The program will offer a free snack to the students and provide assistance with homework as well as mentoring and educational programming like STEM. The cost for the program is 35 dollars a month.
